Default It's been 6 months today

I feel like I make one of these threads every month, but every month I think about how happy I am that I did this.
I mostly make these threads for the people who are either contemplating gastric sleeve and worried about whether its a good idea, or those people who are already scheduled and nervous.
I can tell you... It's the best thing I ever did.

I'm down 70lbs. I'm also 50 years old and don't exercise much, since I have a long drive for work and I had to recover from some knee and hip issues (which are now mostly gone).
That 70lbs brought me from over 250 to around 185. from a size 20/22 to a size 12/14. movie seats are perfectly comfortable now. I can squeeze through places, shop in normal size stores, walk past a mirror and smile, I can run up the stairs, wear a tight top, and... CROSS MY ARMS!

So I do that a lot now (cross my arms). people probably think I'm mad. or cold. I'm just excited that I can do it.

    So exciting, isn't it?

Still is over 3 years later.

I still find myself grinning about the whole damn thing!

I hear you. I am always posting about how much I love my sleeve! I love my sleeved life. No regrets except not getting it done sooner. I have no issues being a sleeved person in a non sleeved world. I just spent a wonderful weekend with friends and socialized just fine. No one was none the wiser that I am a sleeved person!! Congrats on 6 months! Looks like you are almost to goal! Congrats. I think I was also about 6 1/2 months when I hit goal. Now I am well below my expectations and could not be happier. I was so afraid I would not hit goal and here I am living the dream! Enjoy all your success!! Cross those arms! My favorite NSV is being able to wear dresses/skirts and not have to wear shorts underneath. No more sweating or chafing!
