    Default Breakfast Anyone?

I'm in a quandary of sorts and I'm hoping for some ideas. Breakfast is an issue for me. I don't eat eggs. My old go-to was whole wheat toast and peanut butter. Or whole wheat bagel and peanut butter. So you get the idea. I know that's not a great idea anymore. I eat fruit and am not too fond of yoghurt either. Anyone have any ideas for a quick, easy, healthy breakfast now? I know, I know, I'm asking for A LOT of help

I eat a fiber one multigrain English muffin with reduced fat peanut butter every morning. 280 calories and it seems to fill me up until lunch. A little fat is okay, and I am definitely addicted to peanut butter.

Peanut butter is my go-to for lots of things. I don't eat a lot at one time but I do love it. Thanks for the idea. I'll look into that.

Harris Teeter has pre-made crepes packaged in the produce section. Carbs were higher than I want but only 1g of sugar. I put PB on it and it fills me up. Easy in a pinch if you microwave it for 20-30 seconds.

Learn to like eggs and low-fat greek yogurt? Sort of kidding, but before surgery I really didn't like/eat much meat or seafood at all. I basically lived on carbs. (No wonder I was fat.) I learned to try new things, and now love them. Even raw tuna!

Other options may be a protein bar or shake you like that isn't high in sugar, or some oatmeals that I've seen with a good amount of protein. Or maybe a healthy granola? My go-to breakfast for the past 4 years has been 2 eggs, but I do splurge on Saturdays with morning coffee out and their yummy oatmeal.

Okay, I'll bite, what is Harris Teeter? It must be something not in Texas.

I've tried eggs, oatmeal, yoghurt and cannot stomach any of them. I am still stuck with my protein shakes because I'm only 7 weeks out and can't get in enough protein on my own. I've learned to avoid a lot of carbs and do a lot of meat I used to dislke. I've even learned I like avocados (unheard of). But, I'm losing the breakfast battle for sure *sigh*

Maybe, it is a south eastern based grocery store that is expanding into the mid-atlantic. You might have Kroger, the parent company of Harris Teeter, in texas. It is a great store for us. They actually have a decent amount of low carb/low sugar options available that other stores do not.

Someone where I saw something posted about a peanut butter powder. Perhaps if it's not a protein powder, it's still something you could uses.

My go to breakfast is fat free cottage cheese with a good tablespoon of peanut butter and applesauce all mixed together. I know it doesn't sound very appetizing, but I love it. I use the all natural PB that has nothing added except maybe a little salt.

We do have a Kroger and Albertsons and United markets. I'll see what they have. Thanks everyone for the input. I'm in such a rut with foods I dislike and foods I don't want to touch anymore. UGH.

Try crackers topped with sugar free applesauce. Also, I had never tried Cream of Wheat until about a week ago. Turns out it's not too bad.

Breakfast can be anything. Mine is eggs and some leftover protein (steak, bacon). Cream of wheat gives you iron and fiber, add some peanut butter and you have fat and protein.

I always have a nonfat latte made with Fa!rlife milk and Splenda. Then I will have some Kashi Go Lean Crunch Chocolate. It is high in protein. But in the early months I was not eating much carbs. Also, since I couldn't eat much the latte was my breakfast.

Think outside of breakfast foods. I eat dinner leftovers a lot. Chicken or steak. Those are my go to items when I don't eat eggs.
