Hello,
I'm new on this site and found it by a blessing. I will be scheduled for my procedure tomorrow. I don't know the time yet but Im getting very anxious. Please pray for my speedy recovery and i will stay in touch.
Good luck tomorrow. Sending prayers everything goes good. Best decision I ever made. I love my sleeve. Life is amazing. Recommend taking plenty of before pics and take measurements. It will be fun and you will be amazed at your progress when you look back at them. Recommend you find a form of exercise you can do to stay active everyday. Have fun with it, it doesn’t have to be a chore. The first 4-6 weeks you will just be walking. Your energy level will improve a lot after recovery. Happy to answer any questions. 5FCAEF21-14B8-40AE-8384-7E865F0A7C25.jpeg I lost 228lbs in 9 mos‼️ All the best to you with your journey. Enjoy it and remember we all loose at different paces.

Good luck! Walk after surgery!!! Its an amazing journey, but well worth it (at least from my perspective!)
Keep us posted on your progress.
Yes, this is normal for a few reasons...
1. You haven't really eaten enough to poop anything out (hopefully)
2. Any pain medications you may have taken have a notorious side effect: constipation
3. The anesthesia we receive before/during surgery promotes constipation
Take a daily stool softener such as Colace (docusate sodium) or a gentle saline laxative like Milk of Magnesia if the lack of bowel movement is really bothering you.
