    Default Mashed Cauliflower!

OMG....if you have not had this....you simply have to try it. It is made as a mashed potato substitute but basically made the same way. Obviously being cauliflower versus potato it is much healthier. Although I like cauliflower, I never imagined it would be that good. Boy was I wrong. It is freaking delicious!!! If you have not tried it....go for it!! And if you are wanting to try it but not wanting to go through all the work, they have them in the freezer aisle of the grocery store.

I love it! I like the green giant and bird's eye both!

I used mashed cauliflower with seasoning as healthy dip for snacks or dressing for salads before my surgery . it was awesome.

I truly did not know it would taste as good as it did. Like sinfully delicious. If I did not know it was healthy I would think it was bad for me. LOL.

Green Giant has a cheddar and bacon one that looks interesting, but it has a ton of cholesterol and fat in it compared to regular mashed potatoes and protein is about the same. I think I'll give it a try though.

Do you make it? What seasoning do you add? Maybe with skim milk or do you just mash it?

I used to make this pre-surgery but being 6 weeks out I can't seem to digest cruciferous vegetables the same now and when I had them recently it caused a lot of pain. Hopefully I can try it again in a few weeks as my stomach creates the enzymes to digest it the same. Enjoy them for me until I can have them again. Try the orange and purple cauliflowers too.

I bought the premade frozen kind in the veggie section at the grocery store. I hear you can make it just like you do mashed potatoes. Milk, butter, sour cream, chives, garlic etc. It was absolutely delicious.

Oh yes do!! So delicious! I was truly shocked how good it was. Better and more flavored than mashed potatoes.

I will have to try that. I hope you can eat them again soon. A lot of people have issues with cruciferous veggies in the beginning. Eventually you will be ok. I have no food issues at all.
