Hello! I just stumbled upon this wonderful site while asking Google a question about my surgery, which is scheduled this Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 in Dallas, TX. I'm so happy to have found you all. I'm ready to get healthy...for real this time! I hope to learn much and meet many of you. Any words of encouragement or tips would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone has a wonderful week! :)

You will be THRILLED! Keep reading on this site, you will learn a lot. Youtube videos are fun too, just search for "gastric sleeve." I spent so much time at both places before my surgery.

Welcome, Good luck with your surgery. Your in for an amazing ride. I’ve lost 128lbs to date and went from barely able to walk too hiking and climbing mountains. Walking after surgery is very important and will help get rid of gas they use. When you resume fluids make sure you sip frequently. If you get dehydrated you won’t feel good. Important to follow your doctors orders. You may have hunger pains and growling its caused by stomach inflammation; if you take Nexium or prevacid twice a day after surgery. If you have any questions i’m happy to answer.

Thank you. The Sleeve best decision I ever made. So nice to regain my health and freedom. The sleeve as very low side effects. If you Follow your doctors instructions everything should turn out good. The first week is the hardest, but follow everything your doctor tell you and you will be find.
I am on day 10 now, but I am doing ok. Good luck tomorrow and more then anything rest and let

lost 22lbs before surgery and 106lbs since 1-24-17. I follow a healthy diet, exercise and enjoy an active lifestyle. Try not to stress when you stall or if you don't loose large numbers at a time. Slow and steady adds up. Your going to do great.When I have stalls upping my protein always jump starts weightloss again. What is your surgery weight?
