Hello from a Newbie!

Hi, all! Just getting started on this road - in fact, I haven't even picked my doctor yet. I've struggled with my weight for about 15 years, and have solidly been above 270 since having my youngest daughter 6 years ago. I am 34 and ready to get this under control - my mom had it done in August after a decade of diabetes, heart problems, and slow burning luekemia. So far, I don't have health issues, other than being Celiac, and I want it to stay that way.

Hi Rebecca, this was the best thing I ever did. My life and quality of life is a million times better. My health as improved a lot. I went from barely able to walk up a flight of stairs to climbing mountains,bike riding,running. I'm happy to answer any questions. Good for you to take control of your life. I have before and after pics you can see. Ive lost 121lbs in less than a year.
