Hi all....I am on day two of my pre-op. I am pleasantly surprised that, so far, it hasn't been harder. But, I know I have 11 more days of eating the same things and hope I don't fail.
I started this journey at 505 lbs just a few months ago. I was at 484 lbs two days ago and have high hope of losing 15 or 20 pounds more before I have my surgery on October 2nd. Having NEVER been in a hospital since I was born (66 years ago), I'm as nervous as a pig in a bacon factory!
I think what is keeping me on the straight and narrow is that I want to have the ability to play with my grandchildren, take walks and hikes in parks, go swimming, buy new clothes, not worry about squashing fellow airline passengers in the seats and most of all, to be able to go places and not worry if the chairs will hold me!
How has your journey been so far?
