30 days and counting

I just want to say hello to everyone I've made post before but this is my first I guess official one I just want to say that I am now down to 30 days exactly and oh my gosh Society is starting to build hand I'm starting to get scared all the sudden don't worry I won't be changing my mind I do believe this is the best thing for me I cannot wait but that does not skip stop the feelings of anxiety and stress of starting to get scared

I just had my surgery last week. I understand the anxiety. It's getting real now. The nerves are normal I was so anxious last Tuesday. You sound confident in your decision I am sure everything will be fine.

You have got this! I am now just 17 days away from my surgery as well and the anxiety doesn't get any easier, just keep pushing yourself through the days and find positive things to do and view - I like to "window shop" online at fashion, it always makes me feel better knowing that someday soon, I too will be able to purchase some really cute outfits and become a healthier new ME! We are all here to help each other through these nerves and the stress of being afraid. Once it is over, you will be just fine! <3

Hi Martini, I remember having the same anxiety and being scared and it got worse the closer it got but I'm here to tell you it was without a doubt the best thing I ever did!! My life is a million times better. I've lost 121lbs. 22 of them from preop diet and 99 of them since surgery January 24,2017. Check out my before and after pic please for more inspiration. I wish you all the best with your journey. I recommend finding your passion or a way to be active everyday along with healthy eating and reprogram your brain. That is what has helped me with my success. If you have any questions I'm here.

Let me just tell you that I am now almost 3 months post surgery and it was the BEST decision I ever made in my life, I only wish I had done is sooner. Everything your feeling is 100% normal and I was such a wreck I didn't sleep for a month before! I also cried a lot because I became so fat and depressed that most of my joy in life came from food and pigging out and eating to stuff my feelings and I was so scared that once I couldn't use food as my drug of choice any longer, what would I do? Well, let me tell you, I had my surgery July 15 and I am down 50 lbs and I feel better then I have in ages! As for the surgery itself, I had mine done by Dr Illan who was Amazing but I hear wonderful things about the Dr you are going to as well. The surgery was quick and painless, in fact when I woke up, I had no idea he had already done the surgery! I had to feel my tummy for bandages and thats how I knew it was over! LOL. You will do fine and you have all of us to support you and answer any questions you have. Remember, a year from now you can be the same or you can be a healthier better version of yourself physically and mentally. You will not regret this, you will love it! Hugs Pamela
