I can't believe it's tomorrow!!

So my surgery is tomorrow. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. I started everything back in January - making appointments and my six months of dietary visits for insurance. My preOp diet went really fast - I cheated a little bit but oh well keep it moving. My new life starts tomorrow and I'm so excited. I have no reservations, no concerns, no worries. I have such a strong support system and I'm so lucky that everyone that I have shared my news with has been extremely receptive and there for me. I know I will succeed.

Good luck tomorrow. I don't mean to be negative or a hard ass so please don't take this the wrong way!!! I just want you to succeed!! So I can't be quiet. I noticed you have already cheated! Kudos for admitting what you did!! Before you have this surgery you need to make sure you can follow a heathy diet and stop cheating because this surgery will NOT prevent you from eating all those bad foods, it will just slide through your sleeve and won't fill you up and in the end you will still be hungry or you will want to consume more calories which may cause you to gain weight. I've read too many people on here that have this surgery and for what ever reason FAIL!!! They have been both insured and self pay people. The insured group even go thru a screening process. I strongly encourage you to look into counseling, support group. I did counseling for two years before this surgery than after I attended a support group. Both were extremely helpful. I than changed my diet and started exercising before the surgery and started loosing weight. I got the sleeve as a tool to help me loose the 160lbs I needed. I changed the way I look at food by retraining my brain. I stoped be an emotional eater. I stoped be a couch potato and now I love being active!!! I found/unleashed my passion!! Hiking/climbing Mountains. Saturday I'm hoping to climb To the top of Mt Hood. You need to find yours or at least a way to be active. I started out walking and climbing hills and at 288 I was slow and out of breath. As the weight was coming off I got a little faster and not so out of breath. If you become active down the road you can have a little treat. I hope everything goes well with your surgery and recovery. I'm here if you have any questions. Please check out my before and after pics, you will be shocked and hopefully inspired to do this for yourself!! I no longer have diabetes, sleep apnea, high B/P. I'm off the bi-pap & oxygen, 6 medications. I still have CHF, yes CHF!!! MS, amongst other things. I now have more energy than I know what to do with and not only look like a whole new person but feel like a whole new person too. You can do this!!! It's time to rock too the top : )
