National Park Hiking

I am SO EXCITED, we leave Friday for a week of hiking at Great Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde, Canyonlands, and Arches National Parks! Couldn't have done this fat! Just packing is fun....

Ain't retirement wonderful?! You've probably never had a chance to go to national parks when the kids are all back in school, eh? It's GREAT!

Yep, first chance to do anything during school time! Plus hubby was old enough (62) for that $10 lifetime National Park pass, so we're good to go!

Retirement is wonderful. My oldest (who has three little kids) says, "Mom, Dad, you guys have no responsibilities." Darn right! Paid our dues.
