The surgery went well yesterday. No complications. Having quite a bit of nausea though. I discovered that morphine makes me very nauseated. The pain feels like someone kicked me in the gut with steel toe shoes lol. They are trying me out on small sips of water about 30cc every hour. So far good. I got up and walked the unit three times yesterday and once today so far. They may let me go home today not sure yet though. Thank you all for your support.

Keep walk, walk, walking as much as you can. That really helps with the gas pain!!! Wishing you a speedy recovery!!!! xo

Congrats!! This week is the hardest but it will get a little easier each day. A heating pad helped me a lot. I had the kind you just warm up in the microwave. Hang in there!!

Congratulations on the surgery! Morphine made me nauseous too, so I totally feel you there. They had to put me on a different pain med just so I could start drinking water. But it sounds like you're doing great! Keep up that walking!
