I'm not sure what it is... put protein upsets my stomach? I tried a bar this morning and it made me feel "sicky" before work so I only ate a few bites. Last night I made a batch of homemade white chicken chili and had some today for lunch. I have been drinking iced tea with Splenda. I will keep trying to push the protein.

Also found my paperwork last night and my protein requirement is 75g a day. Thank you to everyone for all your suggestions and support.

Love the members on this site!!! xo

I feel same GiGi.. Everytime I eat protein I feel sick after. I threw up a few times too. I think I eat it too fast but just feel awful after.. Protein drinks are fine but solid food is hard

Try the wonderslim protein products. The protein cheese and pasta and soups are very good

I'm a little over 5 years out so mine's a little different than someone more recent I am sure

I scramble 2 or 3 eggs in the morning (usually only eat half then save the rest for a snack or the next morning) the BEST thing I ever bought was a Betty Crocker Pizza Maker - makes the fluffiest eggs and omelettes ever - then I top with cheese and usually a mix of taco meat with ground chorizo.
    Coffee of course.
Then I usually make whatever during the day - I have a home office for my business so ...
Salad shrimp with a few crackers
Havarti Cheese (just a few chunks and I'm good)
Pork or chicken for dinner whatever I have thawed and made
I made a crockpot of loaded potato soup today (made it as low carb as possible) and it's ok - not great - a few bites and I was full.

Was traveling last week over Labor Day and ate whatever friends were having at a wedding reception - caught crap all nite for taking such a tiny plate... sigh cannot get my old friends to ZIP IT - though they have learned over the years

One thing I should have posted yesterday but just thought of was to check out this page www.emilybites.com - she has "cupcake" recipes. French Dip, Philly Steak and Cheese, Tacos, Lasagna etc. She's geared more for Weight Watchers but I would make up a large crockpot of whatever I wanted on a Sunday for a friend and I - he'd eat regular and then I'd create cupcake sized portions and refrigerate mine for the week. WonTon wrappers are the "crust" - they dry out fast no matter what I do to store them so I tend to just skip them totally anymore

I typically eat a scrambled egg or two for breakfast for a high protein greek yogurt. Lunch is usually leftover meat from the previous supper and supper is typically steak, fish, or beans. So far I've been getting in about 60-65 g of protein a day at around 800-900 calories.

I did just see the Dr. today and was told I need to keep my calories the same but increase my protein to 80-100 g/day. Not really sure how I'm going to accomplish that.
