    Default I stink!

It doesn't matter how many showers or baths I take a day using anti-bacterial soap. My armpits stink! It's just getting worse. I have tried all of the clinical strength deodorants, Certain Dry solid and roll-on, several aerosol types too. Even a natural one called Native. Any suggestions for me? Thank you.

Since you tried soaps & deodorants how about upping your water intake? Just a thought. What are you eating? Anything spicy? Back when garlic was the cure all my Mom had a friend who had an odor problem due to the fact that he was eating more garlic than usual. Have you consulted a doctor? It might be time if you have tried everything. Good luck!

I usually drink 60+ ounces of water daily. I can try to increase that but not sure that I can hold more! I have a follow up appointment with my surgeon in a month and I definitely plan to bring it up with him. I haven't had any change in diet. I regularly eat spicy food and haven't noticed a tie to food and the odor. If anything, it may be more tied to stress since it got worse for me after we had a visit with hurricane Harvey but was still an issue prior.

That really "stinks" ... sorry, I had too LOL Seriously, I will be interested to see what your doctor says? Your body has to be producing a hormone or something that is causing you to experience an increase in unwanted odors. I found this online too....

"A lot of the toxins that we ingest are fat soluble and get stored in our bodies. Lose the fat, and the toxins go with it... Rapid weight loss could make this toxin dump into our systems where they are excreted like everything else...through sweat and urine.
Weight loss and ketones effect the body's Ph level which can make bacteria in our mouths and digestive tract flourish temporarily causing bad breath.
The body is really good about returning to a natural balanced state which will eliminate most of the issues."

I know that low carb diets can cause odd body smells from bad breath to BO. It is a side affect of detoxing and ketosis. I am assuming you are eating predominantly meat and veggies? If that is the case, it is most likely the culprit. And adding water will help.
    I found this:
"If you're concerned that the low-carb diet you're following is giving you bad breath and body odor, you can easily cure it by adding carbs back to your diet. The Institute of Medicine recommends you get 130 grams of carbohydrates a day for good health. On a ketogenic diet, you may limit your carb intake to as little as 8 grams a day. If you're trying to lose weight, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics suggests a diet that helps you balance calorie intake and includes a variety of low-calorie, nutrient-rich foods from all the food groups."

ha... I had something similar a few weeks after my surgery. I think it was a rush of hormones but I worried that it was just how I was going to be... it wasn't. It went away after around 2 weeks.

Do not stress. If deodorants do not help, try to reach a doctor. An internal problem can cause an awful smell, and you should probably do a pharmaceutical treatment. Causes can be many, like your diet, possible infections, vitamins or supplements, vaginal infections, menstruation, diabetes. I had that when I was a teen, but my problem was the change of hormones. The doctor said I should wait, and the body will accustom in some time.

In addition to the other suggestions, dry body brushing can support your liver and might help with body odor. It also improves circulation and some people (like me) feel energized by it.

I haven’t made enough posts to add a link but you can find information and instructions using a search engine.

My friend faced exactly the same problem. In my opinion, she just found a very powerful deodorant. I don't know what the doctors will tell you, I hope you can share!
