Hello everyone, Hope y'all are doing well. My case a bit different from most of you. My story goes back to 2009, when I had Bariatic Lap Band surgery by Dr. Michael Choi at Strachs Rejuvenation. The surgery was a total failure, as I had to continue dieting as if I had not had it to loose 25 lbs total in 8 years. Finally, after an over fill given to me on March of 2016 sending me with chest pain to the ER, the hospital decided to disinflation the band completely. No Bariatic surgeon was found during my 4 day stay at the hospital, so a radiologist who later I found out knew nothing about the band poked me several times in my port trying to disinflation it. Upon following hospital order to follow up with a Bariatic surgeon, it took 3 surgeons in a time frame of one year and five months to look at a radiology report and cd which showed band slippage. Yes 3 Bariatic surgeons and the last one recently took the time not only to read the radiologist report but to look at included cd on his office computer. Well, this knowledgeable Doctor by the name of Dr. Dilendra H. Weerasinghe will be removing the slipped band which is now coroated in my stomach, causing inflammation in my esophagus and Grade 4 esophogitis. He will not only remove the Failed lap band, but will give me the Bariatic sleeve surgery since he has to go in anyways to remove the band and I have gained 40 lbs. I'm praying that all goes well and this new surgery is a success for me and also a Reward of appreciation to the doctor who took the time to look further than the rest. My liquid diet starts on the 7th and my surgeries are set for the 19th. Asking all to kindly pray for me as I suffer from anxiety. I am nervous but am truly looking forward to this New chapter in my Life. ❤️
