I just moved to a new state. I'm now in Stevens point Wisconsin. I'm trying to find a surgeon that can take over my care. Anyone out their able to help please.
If you've had surgery I'm sure a primary care physician could care for you, I don't think you have to find a bariatric surgeon, unless you really want to. My PCP knows all about my surgery, what bloodwork I need when, etc.
I'll be in near Steven's Point for a funeral next week, so know the area well. You should visit Up North this fall to see the beautiful colors and cranberry harvest time!
Thanks I will have to try and get up north. I already had the surgery done 2 years now. Having problems as I ended up pregnant just 6 months after getting the surgery and I'm pregnant again. Was needing some help on if I can get back on track and lose more weight or did I mess up the surgery when I got pregnant. Just scared I may not lose more weight since it's been 2 years.
Hopefully some people who have had babies since surgery can give you some advice, along with your doctor. Being pregnant didn't change the size of your new smaller stomach, so I would assume getting back to eating how we sleeve patients have been taught will get you back on track after the baby is born. While pregnant concentrate on healthy eating and avoid junk food. Good luck, and enjoy those babies!!
