    Cool New bee

Hello Everyone my name is Martha. I am a 43 year old mother of 3. 24, 20 and 10. Three months ago I started on my journey for Bariatric Surgery and consulted a doctor who said I would be the prefect candidate for the gastric sleeve. For the past year my health has deteriorated. I developed Adult Asthma, Serve Sleep Apnea, Chronic Bronchitis, gout and gastritis. Also at 43 I am going to menopause. I am pre-diabetic. And tired 24/7. I have been doing research and I am looking for to my life change. My youngest is 10 and I have to be around for her. I live in New York and I have fidelis. Is there anyone who has fidelis and had the surgery? I want to know how was the process with fidelis? And thank you all for welcoming me. P.S. I ask a lot of questions and am open to all suggestions.

Welcome Martha! I know for me it was the best decision ever. I will be 42 next month and I had high blood pressure, sleep apnea, asthma and chronic pain in the back, hips and knees. I still have asthma and the chronic pain but all are greatly reduced. No more blood pressure meds or cpap for me!
I know this surgery saved me. Of course I did what I needed to do to change before surgery.
    I'm sorry I don't have that insurance.
    Best of luck!

Welcome Martha. I am turning 44 on the 16th and am 10 months post op tomorrow. Best decision I have ever made. I feel so healthy and fit. Congrats on your upcoming surgery. Does your insurance require 6 months? Mine did.
