I am a 43 year old mother of 4.having hard time losing weight im over my bmi so my Dr referrred me to get gastric sleeve done.it won't be til.january but I am doing everything they want me to do to get ready for that day.i have developed health issues that they think will subside when I have the surgery and I will feel better about my self as well.any questions or ideas I'm open.thank you I'm nervous but ready

Hi Steph, Get ready for an exciting ride. having the sleeve surgery was the best decision I made. Since the preop diet I've lost 114lbs‼️ My life and health changed dramatically. I no longer look or feel like the person I was before surgery!!! I no longer need the Bipap and oxygen machines, I'm off five meds, no longer have high B/P and diabetes. I love living an active lifestyle. I really enjoy hiking, mountain climbing, running, bike riding. Welcome Steph. Prep for an amazing journey. Your personal outlook will change dramatically but you will need to visualize that change. Changing your head is such an important part of this journey. The first time you look in the mirror and you don't see the fat person that used to stare back at you is the turning point. To help visualize this, take a bunch of really unflattering photos before surgery.
