I am a newbie. I have been researching for years. Dieting for years. I am so ready to change my life now!! I went a month ago for a consultation, and trying so hard to diet. I have lost 7 lbs. My insurance will cover, but I have to wait 6 months at least. So I really would like do this sooner, thinking of going to Mexico. Looking for advice and friendship. I have been checking out different surgeons, on different sites. Advice on this too, would be appreciated. Thank you to any responses.

Welcome Les. I went through insurance and the process start to finish took 7 months. I wish I would have gone to Mexico because of the time and money I spent. I would have spent less going to Mexico. That is just my experience. Other insurance plans don't have to pay as much as I did. I hear a lot of good things about Almanza. Reach out to other Mexico sleevers.

Thank you, I am really leaning this way. In the long run, going to Mexico would be cheaper than my portion with insurance and I can get started sooner!!
