It will be 5 weeks this coming Tuesday since surgery and everything with that is good but I am very queezy, tired, and weak!! When I walk up stairs I'm very winded. Hope that clears up soon!
I had similar issues and couldn't figure out why I wasn't bouncing back the way I thought I should be. When I went to my second post-op appointment my doctor and I went over my list of medications and it turned out that I had misread the post-op instructions and there was a medication that I should have been taking, but wasn't. I started taking it again, and almost magically my strength began to come back the way I expected it to. My point is that it may be just some small thing that your doctor needs to tweak to get you back in balance. Call you surgeon's office and ask questions if you aren't scheduled for an appointment soon.
I feel your pain. It took me about 1.5 months to get semi normal and not so tired. Almost 3 months out now and I am walking over 5 miles a day. I've NEVER been able to do that! Anyhoo what I'm saying is it will get better. Just keep moving.

About one month post-op, I was having issues where I got light headed just standing up. the doc dropped the blood pressure meds then everything got instantly better. As far as weakness, your body is starving itself. You are likely not getting enough good protein. Once you get to soft foods and can get in the proper protein things will change quickly.
