I started taking probiotics at about 6 months out to see if they'd alleviate my constipation issues and promote regularity. After about 1 month I stopped taking them because they were pricey and I noted no difference in my GI health.
However, I recommend acacia fiber powder depending on the situation...

Hi all,
I have found (and my doctor recommends) that probiotics help more with diarrhea, not so much with constipation... I used to take them a few years ago, because I had horrible diarrhea issues, and they did help quite a bit. But, then I became really constipated! LOL. I now take a daily fiber supplement. It's Fiber Choice and comes in a chewable, which tastes pretty good. It's inulin fiber, which comes from fruits and veggies. It helps to keep me pretty regular. I love it and would highly recommend!
