We just got back yesterday evening from our 16-day European vacation. It was a dream vacation indeed! We flew economy plus into Paris, France and on American Airlines and that was sure a relaxing and pleasant start!
We ate and drank well, and I cannot emphasize ate! Most days we walked over 13,000 steps, our best day was 18,779! We took our pilates resistant bands which I did not use once, mostly from exhaustion and dropping dead sleep most nights! the first three days of the trip my legs were aching pretty bad, but I think it was a combo of long flight and walking through cobblestone paved streets. My calfs were killing me one day.
The outlet converters we bought were NO HELP, and my intention to start off my day with my BulletProod Coffee was a forget-about-it
deal. I took the pre measured mct oil/butter packets I bought at Sprouts with me in case we saw a Starbucks, and only once did a barista did it. It was extremely difficult to do the intermittent fasting, but overall I made really good food choices, and did not graze or snack ( a lot ) in between meals! I had wine or a cocktail at every dinner and that was a liberty I allowed myself on this trip.
We flew one-way (direct) from London, England to Austin, Texas, and it was a 9hr 45min flight! Overall, it was bearable and British Airlines has got great amnities even for us the economy class passengers! They kept feeding us every three hours lol! At some point we just declined, except water.
So needless to say, first thing this morning I reluctantly stepped on the scale, and yes I did gain almost 6lbs from my last check-in of 168lbs, but today I started my intermittend fasting detox and let me tell you I am struggling a bit! I want cheese and bread! Bread is my kryptonite... I hope I can find a good substitude in the days ahead.
I found this great Paleo approved Ketogenic Food List link ( https://s3.amazonaws.com/ANC-Files/K...+Print+PDF.pdf ) I think if I can stick with these in the coming days and weeks I can be back on track on reaching and staying on goals.
Well as they said in France... Voilą!
