Hi all figured I would check in and update everyone on my journey so far. I am now 6 months post op I am celebrating my success by taking the week off from the gym ( though I have walked a lot without going ). I am down 133 pounds over all and 103 pounds since my surgery other then this week I am at the gym 6-7 days a week I walk on the treadmill for a hour at a 14 incline with a speed of 3.5 when I first started at the gym 2 weeks prior to my surgery I could only walk for around 25 minutes at zero incline and at a speed of 1.8. On days when my back feels o.k. I also do some weight training but never on the weekends. I usually eat around 120 grams of protein daily while greatly limiting my sugar intake and try not to break the 100g of carbs ( most of my carb intake comes from fruit) I also stay extremely hydrated by drinking between 120-140 ounces of water/power ade zero daily. I am currently experiencing my first stall which started just before my 6 month sleeveversary. It hasn't bothered my though as I know many people experience many stalls and for me to be just going through my first one 6 months out I take as a accomplishment. I am 20 pounds from my goal and after 9 years of not being able to work from my back injury I am feeling well enough to have actually taken on a part time job with limited hours (10-15 per week). I wish everyone great success on their own journeys but please do not compare my weight loss to yours, I understand that by most standards I have lost weight very quickly. If anyone has any questions for me please feel free to drop me a private message I usually get back to them within 24 hours.
