Gas strips

I've read a lot about using gas strips right after surgery. Do the strips work better than the gel tabs? Or it is just easier to use the strips vs. the tabs?

I'm really not sure, sorry. I do know that after surgery, each time I got up to walk laps... they were a God send and I did not have gas issues. I walked all night.

I did not use any gas strips post op. Just walking around frequently helped me get the gas out.
