Still having pain after 3 weeks, normal?

I had my surgery a little over 3 weeks ago and I'm still experiencing pain in the lower right abdomen, my incisions are healed and it's when getting up, climbing stairs, and some walking, is this normal ? Now I will admit that I haven't taken it as easy as I should of this past week as our house is on the market for sale but I don't want to jump to conclusions either.

I'd talk to your surgeon. It could be nothing serious but you don't know, it's best to err on the side of caution.

Have you spoken to your surgeon? What did he/she say??

This pain is most likely the stomach muscles. If you google it, under your largest incision your muscle was cut and stitched during the surgery. Once you start moving again, about 10 to 14 days after the surgery that area starts hurting as the muscle is being stretched. I went through this during week two, at lasted a week.

that area hurt when I breathed deep. or stretched.
I'm 5 weeks out and no more pain.
