    Default Stall

What was your longest stall? I lost 60 basically in two months, but I haven't lost anything since June 19 ( I weigh myself every Monday). I am sure it is my body catching up, but a month stall?

Happened to me as well. Focus on fluids and protein and don't get discouraged. From what I have read once our bodies lose quite a bit of weight quickly it goes "holy cow, what's going on??" and then slows down to adjust. Then it will start again. I am 5 months post op and have had 2 of these stalls so far. I am happy as it looks like I finally broke through my second one as I weighed in at 397 this morning. My frustration is that due to hip issues I can not exercise as I would like so all of my loss so far has been through diet and I do walk more than I did pre-surgery.. 82 pounds so far.

Yes, as long as you know you are doing what you're supposed to, it will pass...

What and how much are you eating and drinking? If what you're doing isn't working, try changing something. Ex..increase carbs, fats etc. how much are you exercising?

I probably should watch my carb intake, but it's not like I eat that many to begin with. I will increase the length and amount of exercise I do. Hopefully that will get me out of this stall. I want to be out of the 200's by my birthday...

I'd watch the carb intake and up the overall calories with protein. Upping the calories always pushed me through my stalls.
