    Any hormonal issue makes weigh loss harder, especially being hypo. May be you could have a post-op with your surgeon and talk about your options? Because that hernia might need repair.
    If your restriction is still there you can for sure lose weight but it will be slow, so you have to be persistent. Go back to protein first, lots of veggies, cut your carbs a bit. Tracking can help a lot too. Good luck!

    I concur with what Sandra said. Go back to basics. Refocus. You can do this. Good luck.

    I'm 3 years out (not 4 years out), so there's that.

    But my take on why you may think the sleeve has lost its usefulness is that you've built some new / old bad habits of eating again that "work around" the sleeve's ability to support your weight loss efforts.

    I agree with what others have suggested: Go back to the basics regarding:

    * Protein (80-100 grams/day)
    * Meals (3 a day)
    * Grazing (NONE)
    * Hydration (at least 64 ounces)
    * Exercise / moving -- you can find something to do, I bet! And then gradually do more and more of it.
    * Vitamins/minerals -- take the ones you were taking early on. You should be taking them the rest of your life.
    * Take out the trash -- meaning, throw out of the house all the trigger foods that call to you -- chips, candy, cookies, ice cream, etc. -- and don't ever buy anymore of it.
    * Tell those in your household you plan to change the way you are eating and you REQUIRE their support in any ways you need them to support you.

    For starters.

    And don't be a stranger here. Be active here. Ask questions, read posts, chime in. It's a place for support that only works if you stay connected to it.

    VERY BEST WISHES!

    Hang in there. I'm 3 years post op and have gained about 20 pounds. Just got refocused 7 days ago. Cut the carbs down to 25, upped the protein to 60-80 grams. First week I'm down 3 pounds. Stay in touch. We're all here to support you!
