Ready to get the weight off!!

I have my surgery scheduled for 4/2/18 and I wish it was yesterday! I want this weight off so bad I want this to be the last summer I feel this way! I don't want any more overweight pictures and videos taken of me. I'm ready for a whole new lease on life that I jus can't seem to find carrying around so much weight! I'm in physical pain and psychological pain attributed to my weight. I'm 32 wit weight related health problems. I feel uncomfortable all the time. I have tried to lose weight for a long time and only get so far. I don't have much more time I can spend trying to do this "the natural way" I need help! I do worry about what people who know me will think and say but I worry about that now being overweight anyway. I don't feel like I owe anyone an explanation as to why I am choosing this route. I want to be comfortable in my skin! I think I deserve that! Thank you!

Why 9 months from now? Is that how much time they require to wait?

No I jus need to save up the money I didn't qualify for any loans or else I'd do it sooner.

I know how you feel. I don't even know yet if I will be approved. If not, I won't get it done. My husband took a picture of me the other day at the parade. I am huge. It's depressing me. April will get here before you know it.

Hi and Welcome.
I had my surgery in April 2017, and I am happy with my decision, although it's been difficult at times. I am like you, 32 with some health complications from being morbidly obese for so long. I'm happy to say that less than a week after my surgery, my doctor took me off of my blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and cholesterol meds! And I am still off them... knock on wood!

My scheduling took a long time too because I dropped the ball midstream but was able to finish up before all my initial consults expired. I don't regret the extra time though because I spent that time saying goodbye to my old self. For the first time EVER, I knew I could say goodbye to the weight and it would STAY gone! Also, I know you hate seeing the bad pictures, but you'll be happy you have them to remind you that that is what you looked like. One year from now, you'll be soooooo happy!

Seriously take this time to find out what your triggers are and change them one by one. Before you know it the time will be here!!! Get a notebook and start keeping a food diary. Start making the small changes now so it will pay off later. It really does help. I was in classes for three months and finally by the end one day it all just clicked and I lost weight right before surgery. It made it a lot easier. You will find a lot of support and information on here. Don't be afraid to ask anything!! We were all in the waiting boat like you at one time. It really does go by fast. I couldn't sleep at night. I could feel the weight on me. It would wake me up. I had horrible back problems and this was the best decision I ever made. Wishing you the VERY best!!!
