No longer pre-diabetic!

It has barely 3 weeks out and I am no longer prediabetic! My AIC was 6 and now it is 5.2. I was so excited to get the news. I can't believe it improved so quickly. That is just my little brag. I wanted to share it with someone. Anyone else have their pre diabetes of diabetes reversed so quickly?

I don't have any personal experience with this, I'm still pre-op and I am not prediabetic or diabetic. However I have heard of people's A1C's and blood sugars improve quickly after surgery. Congratulations! You are doing well, keep going.

That is awesome news!! I have seen so many people reverse their obesity related illnesses. I am STILL on my BP meds but my dosage was cut in half. I cannot believe that I am at a normal BMI now and still on my BP meds. But I am very happy for you that you are no longer pre diabetic!! WAY TO GO!!

That's amazing news! I'm happy for you!

I'm not diabetic but have many other issues, and was surprised and happy to see that many improved over the months : my IBS was almost gone after a few weeks. Now I can eat veggies when we go out! I couldn't do that for more than 20 years....and I'm not in pain and bloated everyday when I eat either. My asthma did improve a little too, and even if I had a few set back and injuries in the past 18 months, my general condition improved a lot, I'm not in pain when I wake up, I'm much more mobile and can walk 10 kms per day without being in excruciating pain the following day....it's a long list of happy improvements.
