At what stage can I start biotin

I actually started mine pre op. I had gotten the dissolvable ones. Natrol makes a great tasting one. You can find them on Amazon. Walmart used to have them but I can't find them there any more. They are 10,000 mcg.

I began taking Biotin a year and half before surgery for another issue. (On a chemo pill which caused me to shed lots of my long hair.) It helped me regain more thickness after 5 months or so back then. I am 3.5 months post op and I see that it is now thinning more again. Just comes out in long hand fulls when I brush it. I take 10,000 mcg 2x a day and will continue to do so. I think it really does work.

Like Christie said, I get mine at Sam's club and they taste good. Dissolving pills. My daughter takes them too and she has issues swallowing pills, these dissolving ones are great.

I started mine pre-op too plus a prenatal vitamin and never stopped - had very very little hair loss.

I was advised to take liquid collagen to help with saggy/sunken skin from rapid weight loss. I will start that 30 days after surgery.

Where do you get liquid collagen? I have not heard of that.

But how soon after surgery are you allowed to take those vitamins I know Day 14 you start the multivitamin can I start the biotin then also I wanted to take lysine because apparently lysine prevents in skin sagging so I seen tighten skin

How much biotin should you take each day? Can you take too much? Really not liking that my hair is thinning!

I noticed my hair thinning at about the 4 month mark. That is when I started taking it. Now at a year from surgery my hair is thicker then before the surgery.
