Mexico motivation

I am new to the forum. I am getting sleeved on the 7th in Tijuana with Dr. Almanza. Thoughts? How is the service, the hospital, the area? I am nervous and freaking out.

I will be in TJ on Monday with Dr. A ...having my sleeve surgery. If you search around, you will find a ton of info here about surgery in TJ and specifically from members that have been sleeved by Dr. Almanza.

Welcome to the site. Dr. A is amazing. He did my surgery in January of this year. Today when I weighed in I hit 60 pounds lost. Its amazing. I had zero complications from the surgery, the only thing I struggle with now is heartburn and it is mild in comparison to how I felt before. His staff is great, they are nice and attentive. He is also very calming.

Don't worry. The clinics and hospitals in Mexico are clean and many Americans and Canadians go there for WLS and plastics. You're in good hands.

Are you taking protonix or zantac? I was have heartburn issues until I got on a daily strong dose, now no heartburn at all unless I forget to take my medication for a couple of days. Hope your heartburn gets better!
