Just had a new Sleep Study since loosing 103lbs‼️ Got my results back from my doctor and it came back perfect‼️ Can't believe I no longer need my Bi-pap and Oxygen machines. What an incredible feeling. It is also very freeing. I can now go backpacking, Woohoo. I'm so excited for new opputunities that are impossible to do when you need those machines at night. It also makes traveling easier.
Having the Gastric Sleeve was the best decision. My new life is amazing. For anyone thinking of having the Sleeve Surgery or on the fence I say go for it. You life will change for the better.

That is FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I did a sleep study a few years ago and could never get used to the c-pap machine they gave me. I am so encouraged to know that your incredible weight-loss has cured your sleep apnea. (BIG HUGS)

Congrats Tamera!! what an amazing result in just 5 months!!! I'm sure you will have no issue reaching your goal! I'm very happy for you!!

I was snoring loudly when I was at my biggest in 2012 and losing around 65 pounds that year (12 months of diet) did make a huge difference. I was lucky that even when I gained 2/3 of the weight back the snoring didn't come back.

With the sleeve I'm hoping that the weight will be more manageable long term and so far I'm reaching in a few days the critical 18 months (that's when most people have a 5 to 10% weight regain in all studies) and my tiny little regain(2 pounds left) is linked to a medication I took two weeks ago and made me gain 4 pounds in 48h... so it should go away like it did the other times, plus I'm still not at goal and hoping to lose more in the months to come.....but I'm in snail mode right now so it might take a while...

Congrats Tamera! Being able to breath is something that gradually improved for me. I no longer snore and my asthma is much better. I used to move around the house huffing and puffing. I don't miss that at all.

Hi Gigi, I hated my bi-pap mask. I was forced to wear it or I couldn't breath when I sleeped. The bi-Pap is a mini vent. I had a love hate relationship. My husband says I don't snore either anymore. Nothing sexy either about wear that thing to bed. Plus the oxygen made a lot of noise and it was a pain to travel with. Glad your doing so well too. Cheers to us
