    Default Gulping water

So since I have been on forum I have read plenty of posts of folks upset that they won't be able to gulp down their water. Which in it of itself is bad if you trying to get hydrated. I was always told this by my esthetician daughter and my own facialist. Sip sip sip slowly was ingrained into me from my first NUT consultation.

So, I have this really cool Wonder Woman water bottle, and I put my coffee in it this morning as I was getting ready to head to airport. I meant to finish it, but didn't and it was on my carry on bag and didn't remember until I had put my stuff on the conveyor. I certainly did not want to throw it out so right before crossing that stupid xray machine I chugged it down, maybe it was about a cup and a hald in there lol! And guess what no pain! no restriction! no discomforts! No fluid stuck in my esophagus!

I had not tried chugging anything down from post op because if I ever even drank a bit toooo fast oh I felt it! And I am such a wuz so I always sipped.

So don't fret eventually everything goes back to normal! I am finding out 13.5-months post-op.

You'll be able to gulp water in no time, just not at the beginning.

I can take big drinks but have not tested how much I can drink down "quickly". Not sure I'm ready for that test.

I still can't "gulp water". I can drink it faster than at the beginning indeed but still can't drink a small bottle of water in 1 minute. If I drink too fast it does come up. Plus I have to be careful not to drink to fast because it does come up with a "gift" (acid)..

I just spoke with my nut yesterday about gulping water. I sip throughout the day but sometimes I gulp. When I told her I can drink 8 ounces in 15 minutes, she said that is fine at 2 years out. I was afraid of stretching my sleeve. I changed my diet around and I know for sure I haven't stretched at all. Once shake makes me full for hours. I had to get back to the protein.
