    Default Bone Broth

Has anyone used bone broth during their liquid diet phases? I have been reading up on it and it's very good for you and lots of protein. I have tried one version and struggled with the taste but I think I want to keep trying it as an option for me.
Any thoughts, suggestions for making it taste better, recipes (well not exactly recipes as I don't plan on making my own).

I know a lot of people do but I was fine with just protein shakes, regular broth, creamed soups made with nonfat milk etc.

Funny that my husband and I were just talking about this tonight. We are making our own and were discussing making it before or after my surgery. I will let you know how it goes.

I did. And added miso soup to make it delicious.

Oh most already made bone marrow broths I have tried have not been seasoned with salt. I particularly ordered mine from OssoGoodBones https://www.ossogoodbones.com also found a few at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods early post op, and they weren't as good as OssoGood. I particularly loved the spicy pork, but again they are very low in sodium which I needed anyway (or at least I thought I did lol!).

I used ready made bone broth with veggies, meat and curry to make a soup rich in protein. Was not too bad but I didn't try it often since I can't find it where I live.

You can order it online. I actually got a small (16 oz) container on Vitamin Shoppe online but it was shipped to the store (cheaper shipping). I wasn't able to drink it, not sure if it was due to the smell or the taste. My husband drank half so it was't a complete waste of $.
I would like to keep trying other options though as I think it would be a great way to consume a good amount nutrients and protein in while on a liquid diet, in one meal.

It is hard to swallow... ba dum pum...
I may try making my own one day but I'm not inclined to spend the money AND time only for it to not turn out good. Or maybe I would like it more since I made hit myself... Who know.

me too. Been researching it most of the day. I think I would just do the 5 dollar a month , like a rental thing, for the machine. Wish i knew how to e-mail the nutrional break down to my Nut so she can tell me if its compliant :-(
