Making a Change!!

Hello all!

I've struggled with my weight since I was small. I've lost large amounts of weight three times, but struggle to keep it off. I've decided to have the sleeve done to decrease the amount of food I need to feel full. I'm so ready for this change and challenge!

Hello Tara!! I hear you. I have been through it myself several times and keeping it off was always impossible. My sister was sleeved 5 1/2 years ago and has been successful and maintained her weight loss. I regret not taking the plunge sooner! Welcome!! Do you already have a surgery date?

My surgery date is scheduled for July 20th! I'm a little nervous, but very excited at the same time.

Wow, you have done a remarkable job thus far. Keep it up, you look great! I have no doubt you will fulfill all your dreams!! I am only exploring the idea of using the same doc as you. If you have any good advice or insights I would highly appreciate them. I do not have insurance and I don't have too much to loose, so if finances prevail, I may get to schedule my surgery sometime close to yours but maybe before. Nice to meet you.
