    Thumbs up Major weightloss achieved!!!!

Can't believe I've lossed 102lbs,Woohoo‼️ second goal crushed. Feels amazing. I love my new life and the new me. The sleeve surgery has given me another chance to live the life I dreamed about for years. So after getting my health stable and working with a counselor I was ready to make a lifestyle change. I eat healthy and exercise everyday. I joined multiple hiking groups and a cycling group. I love hiking and riding my road bike. I hope to eventually mountain climb. The Sleeve is the best decision I've made next to marring my husband and having my daughter. I haven't been this happy in a very long time. I love I can cross my legs, shave my legs with ease, bend and touch the floor amongst many other things. What a happy day its been‼️

Thanks Jan, Congratulations to you as well. This was definitely not the easy way out but a tool and if you put in the work amazing things will happen. I've heard that too from some people I now. Thankfully most people have been supportive especially when they were seeing my results. Have you taken something fun up since loosing your weight?

Congrats! It is an amazing journey! Mountain climbing is an awesome endeavor! You're in WA, Mt Rainier is right there for you. Mt Baker is also a nice climb (especially for a first one). I used to climb years ago, and have some plans for next June and the North Ridge of Mt. Baker......

I wish I lived out there! Unfortunately I am in CT

I have climbed both Rainier and Baker, great climbs. Go with a guide service and have a lot of fun. Just get into great shape before Rainier. Baker is easier since it is about 4000 feet shorter. Rainier kicked my but last time, but I wasn't in nearly as good of shape I am right now and I was 45 lbs heavier too!

Congrats again on your success. Yes, I also feel like I've hit a homerun with this life changing surgery!!!!

Thank you for the kind words. Congratulations to you on your accomplishments as well. I think what's really helped me with my weightloss is eating all my protein from different sources( chicken, pork, beef, fish, crab, shrimp). I also make dishes with protein pasta by Barilla. Comes in yellow boxes. I'll have a little veggie of some kind or little garden salad. Also get my fruit in with my snack.I always have water to drink. I also exercise everyday and go on strenuous hikes 2-5x a week. Slowly built up the difficulty. However I have been sick or had surgery that laid me up for a few days to two weeks and I still lost good amount of weight following my diet. So I think diet is a huge key to success. I also have a Fitbit watch I just love. It is so nice to see your exercise you've done in writing and I have made Fitbit friends that I have on my profile now and we have different competitions. We all encourage one another too, it's great. One of my friends is from this forum too and one add surgery same time as me. Good luck with the rest of your journey.
