I have climbed both Rainier and Baker, great climbs. Go with a guide service and have a lot of fun. Just get into great shape before Rainier. Baker is easier since it is about 4000 feet shorter. Rainier kicked my but last time, but I wasn't in nearly as good of shape I am right now and I was 45 lbs heavier too!

Congrats again on your success. Yes, I also feel like I've hit a homerun with this life changing surgery!!!!

Thank you for sharing your experience with me and all the kind words. I'm busy training hard and will be involved in training hikes starting in the fall that our for people training to climb various glacial peaks. Training with the Mazama's. I'd love to climb Mt. Rainer, Baker, Mt St. Helens, Hood. Hike around Mt Shasta and near the Crags. Next time Want to go back with somebody willing to go to the top of the Crags. Mt Shasta was just beautiful. People I was with didn't want to hike in snow so we were limited on hikes.
Good luck with your continued journey. Love hearing success stories not only with weightloss but with activity too. That's what really motivated me. Those people that lost all their weight and went from being inactive for a period of time to climbing mountains, jumping out of panes, participating in marithones, triathlons etc.

Can't believe I've lossed 102lbs,Woohoo‼️ second goal crushed. Feels amazing. I love my new life and the new me. The sleeve surgery has given me another chance to live the life I dreamed about for years. So after getting my health stable and working with a counselor I was ready to make a lifestyle change. I eat healthy and exercise everyday. I joined multiple hiking groups and a cycling group. I love hiking and riding my road bike. I hope to eventually mountain climb. The Sleeve is the best decision I've made next to marring my husband and having my daughter. I haven't been this happy in a very long time. I love I can cross my legs, shave my legs with ease, bend and touch the floor amongst many other things. What a happy day its been‼️

WOW that is so fantastic Tamara! I cannot wait to feel myself again. I put so much weight on the past 5 yrs from depression and anxiety etc and I just let myself go to hell. I cannot wait to feel as good as you do again!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I can relate to how you feel. That was me for the last 20 years. It all started when I was DX with MS. I spent so much time in darkness. I'm so greatful for a second chance. I'm wasting no time and loving every minute. It's been a lot of hard work with my self and with an amazing therapist but so worth it. You can do it too. I truly am blessed. The hiking out here truly is amazing!! I've been on many since this journey. Off to one now. I'm also blessed to hike around Aspen Co. in July. My life is full now. All the best to you. If your ever out my way please give me a shout. Would be fun to hike with a fellow sleever.
