    Default Day two!

I had my surgery Thursday 6/8/17. In two days out and learned that my body doesn't really like apple juice. My stomach was all knotted up and in pain after just 3-4 sips of apple juice. I'm gonna delete it 50-50 and try again today after the x-ray.

I'm having massive "rolling" gas pains. It starts in my front and rolls to my back. I don't know how else to describe it.

But sergical pain. Nope! None at all.

Try room temperature or slightly warm beverages.

I agree with mellowjoy -- it may be a temp thing. I can't handle really really cold things (like apple juice) and usually let it get "room temp" for a few minutes before I take a sip. Good luck!

Yup. I could not tolerate cold or sweet things immediately post op. My nut/surgeon did not recommend juice like some do. They suggest a low carb, high protein lifestyle post op. I don't drink juice or eat fruit to this day and I am 7 months post op. I don't count my carbs but just try to make good choices.

Juice (pure surgary carbs) was not one of my early go-to "foods." I was ALL about the protein early on.
