    jerzey,
I needed to hear this--especially the "being gentle with ourselves." Funny thing is, I am so happy and proud to be eating the way that I know that I am supposed to. My clothes getting tighter was my kick in the butt. I had to spend a lot of money to buy clothes when I lost weight, and I refuse to buy clothes in a bigger size again. We can do it!!!

For all you veggie-avoiding sleevers, below for your consideration of some low-calorie, high-fiber, sugar-crave-killing, nutritious, delicious foods:

    Mini cucumbers, 1/2 cup - 8 calories!

    Arugula, 2 cups - 10 calories!

Cherry tomatoes, 9 large ones - 27 calories!

Walden Farms dijon dressing, 2 tablespoons - 0 calories!

Sugar snap peas, 4 ounces - 15 calories!

    Zucchini, 4 ounces - 20 calories!

And there are more, so many more veggies and dressings like these!

Morning all! It's actually kind of nice in NJ for a change, not so cold and was really sunny earlier I've been really trying to eat more mindfully and so far, so good! I survived the weekend without gaining even a pound; which is unusual for me...lol... I'm going to Key West at the end of February, bought a new bathing suit and am determined to wear it proudly! Man, 8 years ago I would have never worried about wearing a bathing suit proudly, I would have stressed over the fact that I had to put one on; my how life changes after bariatric surgery!

B: non-fat plain Oikos Greek yogurt, toasted flax seeds, berries, and small amount of granola
L: 3 ozs. chicken on small side salad w/balsamic/olive oil
D: meatloaf, roasted broccoli, tablespoon of mashed potato that I'm making for my husband
S: Yasso frozen fudge yogurt bar

I hope everyone has a great day!

I'll chime in ... a bit randomly, but nevertheless ....

Breakfast - my usual ... two nonfat lattes and GNC Lean 25 chocolate shake

Lunch - Healthy Choice Korean power bowl (yeah, they're processed frozen meals, but sometimes they fit the bill because they're easy-peasy, nutritious, have lots of protein, veggies and whole grains, and are low-cal)

Dinner - 6 ounces sauteed FRESH shrimp, a cup of sauteed broccolini (with fresh garlic) and a glass of chardonnay

Dessert (coming up later) -- 3 Ak-mak crackers, 1 ounce of Brie, and a sliced Honeycrisp apple

And for those who care, total calories = 1,485, 96 grams of protein, 112 grams of carbs, 60 grams of fat (mostly olive oil and butter)
