Tried that website and my computer blocked it as Unsafe. Tried it on my phone and it went to amazon the first time and a news site the second time.

    Hello all,

Has anybody tried the new diet on the block, aka, the Keto Diet?

This diet is taking the world by the storm because finally we now have a diet that lets you eat bacon and butter and STILL LOSE WEIGHT!!

For those who don't know what keto diet, here's a brief description - it is a diet aimed at bringing your body into a state of ketosis where instead of burning glucose you start burining your fat cells for energy. This diet includes eating a huge proportion of fatty foods (the healthy kind) and proteins and consuming extremely meagre quantities of carbs.

So, you can binge on butter, cheeses, and egg yolks and still get rid of those flabs!

However, there are certain restrictions you MUST follow in order to make the keto diet work for you...

I have this feeling you don't know shit about being sleeved.
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

Wow! What discipline and good choices going on here.
    B - 1 slice Mountain grain bread, 1 egg
    S - Premier protein shake
    L - Tuna creations
D - NYE - small bites of filet mignon, salad, roasted asparagus, and twice baked potatoes. Oh, and I saved for a splurge of Brandy Alexander which I will not finish.
S - some protein as needed

Happy New Year! Glad to see folks posting as I think a little added accountability is needed on my part Let's see:

B: Ensure Complete Max protein Cafe Mocha (yummy)
L: Hot Buffalo tuna creations w/small side salad
D: leftover salmon, broccoli, 1 scallop (leftovers from New Year's Day)
S: this is where I'm trying to limit myself, night eating is taking it's toll on my "nerves". Can't seem to get a grasp on not indulging but working on it. I might have some nuts tonight as I have fitness and will be eating dinner around 8:00 PM

"One Day at at Time" for me and keeping my goals in mind which is to lose 10 pounds by February 16th, when I go to Key West, FL. on vacation. This will bring me to my lowest all time low after bariatric surgery. I'm about 5 pounds from my "maintenance" weight but would like a little less "cushion." (small pun)

Ended up eating 1/2 protein bar and 1/4 cup of mixed nuts for dinner after fitness class, and really made a diligent effort not to snack afterwards. About 10:30, when I finally sat down, I had a Pistachio Brittle Yasso Bar, but also mad a vow that this wouldn't be an every night "treat." Just putting it out there

B: Ensure Cafe Mocha protein drink, 12 ounces coffee w/splenda & light cream
L: 3 ounces salmon, steamed broccoli, small side salad w/Yogurt dressing
D: 2 ounces filet mignon (leftover from New Year) on spinach salad w/radishes, red onion, blue cheese, balsamic vinegar
S: 1/4 cup mixed nuts (I chew them forever and they last while watching TV) I know this is not such a great habit, but it's what works for me for the time being.

Hi, Kenson and Jerzeygirl -- my old friends.

Still doing what works for me -- lots of protein, many servings of veggies and fruits (striving for 8/day), and minimal starchy carbs -- except when it's a treat event, like dinner out. Yesterday's menus were typical for a weekday:

    Breakfast
    Two non-fat lattes
    GNC chocolate protein drink

    Lunch
    Grilled boneless, skinless chicken breast
    Cherry tomatoes
    Arugula, spinach, spring lettuces
    1 ounce blue cheese crumbles
    Skinny Girl balsamic dressing
    4 Ak-mak crackers
    1 ounce excellent cheddar cheese

    Dinner
    Frontera Taco Bowl
    Chardonnay

    Evening Snack
    Honeycrisp apple
1 ounce of that excellent cheddar cheese

I also walked 11K steps and went to a kickass "spicy" 75-minute yoga class.

During 2018 I traveled more than during the previous 3 years, so my weight fluctuated more often. When I'm on holiday I definitely "go with the flow, but manage that fluctuation by losing a couple pounds pre-trip and losing a couple more when I get back home. Nonetheless, when there's something special around worth the calories, I definitely eat it. I think I enjoy food even more than I did pre-WLS.

My sleeve continues to make weight maintenance for me possible, which still feels like a miracle!
