Hi everyone!

So I am just starting the process of getting the sleeve and been non stop reading and researching EVERYTHING I can. Scared, excited, abrehensive, nervous...all things I feel about going thru with this. However, being over 200lbs now at 275 for over 15 years, suffering from PCOS and now in my mid 40's other things I could do easily are harder with the extra weight are harder and take so much more effort, I took my Drs advise and went to the seminar and decided this was the best way for me to go for permanent weight loss. I am hoping to learn alot (and I am sure vent some day) on this site! I have been reading a bit on here, and finally made it official...lol. Its time!

Hi Kim! You have come to the right place. This is the best place to hear about real experiences and issues with the sleeve. The good, the bad, the ugly but always the truth. Read as much as you can now and ask anything you need to know. People here are very positive and helpful! And having people who have been there to support you along the way makes the journey better. Other people can be supportive but if they haven't been here then they really don't understand it. Welcome!

Welcome! I'm a pre-surgery person just like you. I've dug through tons of posts trying to take in all I can so I'm informed when my surgery process begins. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. You'll be so glad you are here. Best wishes!

Welcome Kim!! This group has been my lifeline. I am having my sleeve surgery done in Mexico this July. Since becoming a member here I have learned so much and have truly been in awe reading stories of people changing their lives and really embracing their new bodies. I had my sleeve 5 weeks ago and am down 18lbs since surgery, 33 overall. It's been a lot of hard work, and I've faced a few stalls in weight loss along the way. It's definitely not the "easy" way out.

Hi, I'm a newbie as well and doing all sorts of research. Finding this platform has been a lifesaver. I had no idea but so happy to find there is tons of information out there. I am gathering as much information I can find especially when it comes to the surgeons.

Welcome Kim! I absolutely love this site! So much good info here. I did the same as you in the begining and just soaked in all the info i could. I'm now a few days out of surgery and I couldn't be happier!

I'm 41 and only 5 foot so I really needed to change because I'm not getting any younger!
