Has anyone read The Emotional First Aid Kit: A Practical Guide to Life After Bariatric Surgery, by Cynthia Alexander? I really like it so far. I am also curious about other books folks may have read that they found helpful pre and post surgery.

I'm reading Weight Loss Surgery: the real skinny by Nick Nicholson. Quick read, to the point, covers several aspects. I also read Before & After: living and eating well after weight loss surgery by Susan Leach. That one started out good, but I got a little aggravated reading about her lavish lifestyle. I also have on my desk 3 different weight loss surgery cookbooks.
