The tummy tuck was a BREEZE! I had an extended thigh lift, I can't remember what they call the one on the inside of your leg, but that's the one I had. I did have some wound closure issues, where the incision met my groin area. No where near the horror stories I have seen detailed on the internet. However, I knew this was a possible issue going into the procedure, so I wasn't freaked out when I saw the wound opening. I wish my surgeon would have gotten my thighs as tight as my arms
My legs had cellulite before the procedure and I still have that. I wasn't expecting perfection, but it's not what I wanted my end result to look like. People say my legs look smaller than before, but I guess I am just too critical and don't see it.
I had both procedures done the week before Thanksgiving and was back at work the Monday after. I should have taken more time off, but it was doable. I do have a desk job, so nothing strenuous. I say go for it! I had left over pain medication from the procedures and honestly, it wasn't that bad. You will of course need help getting around. And I can't stress enough to get the Lady Pee Pee thing, so you can pee standing up. That was a life saver to not have to sit to pee. Oh, and make sure you take a stool softener when you take pain meds. I got extremely constipated and thought I was giving birth when I was finally able to go after 90 minutes straining on the toilet. NOT fun! (TMI, sorry) But you should know what to expect right?
