Default Surgery is right around the corner!!

    My surgery is Wednesday!!!
Needless to say, a roller coaster of emotions. Overall, I feel calm right now. Wednesday, however, who knows.
I'm starting to get things together for the hospital. I'm spending the night, and, if all goes well🤞, I'll be discharged
    Thursday around 6pm.
I don't want to take a lot of unnecessary things to the hospital. Looking for suggestions on what to pack!! Any suggestions??

    Thanks
    Diane

Diane... I'm so excited for you!! I'm at the very beginning stages of this process and envy those of you who have made it as far as you have. I'm sure you'll do great. Be sure to post in here how you are doing afterwards!!

You won't need much. I only used a few of the items I brought. You need to have slippers. I brought my Nike plastic slide on slippers. Chapstick, lotion, any daily medications, toothbrush, toothpaste, a brush, phone and charger, a magazine, loose clothes undergarments, and that is it. I did not shower until I got home. I did brush my teeth and hair and washed my face. I did not really use much as you spend most of the time sleeping off and on and then getting up to walk the halls. I also watched some TV but mostly slept. It was like being an infant taking cat naps.
PS-If you get uncomfortable in hospital beds, like I do, I would advise bringing your own pillow and a body pillow. It makes the bed more comfortable
