Dr. Terry K. Scarborough - TLC - Houston, TX

Hi everyone! I'm new to this board and am scheduled to get sleeved next month. My surgeon is Dr. Terry K. Scarborough at Texas Laparoscopic Consultants in Houston, TX. Has anyone used Dr. Scarborough before? If so, would you please share your thoughts and experience regarding him and his practice? It looks like he is a good surgeon who is well respected in Houston, but it is always nice to have feedback (good or bad) from other sleevers with firsthand knowledge. Many thanks!

In the US I'd always look for places that have earned the 'Center of Excellence" criteria. Good luck to you!

How did your surgery go??

Thanks for checking in. Surgery went well. No complications thus far (knock on wood). I had a pretty easy recovery -- sore for a few days but am now pretty much back to normal in terms of getting around. I'm not having any problems getting in my protein or fluids, which is good. One thing that has surprised me in the last few days is that I don't really feel restriction on the full liquid post op diet. Is this normal?
