    Default An Awesome NSV!

How many times did I dread flying pre op??? Too many that even still I feel PTSD when boarding, and I hate sitting in the middle seat, I have always loosen the seatbelt to the max and still do.

Well, today was a beautiful feeling when I kept pulling on the seatbelt around my waist!

    Great feeling ever!

Congrats on the awesome NSV!! I haven't received my sleeve yet, but that is one of my biggest concerns on the flight to San Diego....always felt like I was crowding the person next to me.

With the money that you will save long run on food, etc.. Treat yourself and buy an extra seat or upgrade to first class if possible! Treat yourself!

That is awesome Shirl! So happy for you! What a great feeling. I had a similar dreadful feeling.. with restaurant booth phobia!! Where my stomach was pressing into the table in a tight booth. Well now they aren't so tight, as I proudly say "Booth please" on the occassions that i do get to dine out.
Congrats girl! You are so inspirational to me!

THAT'S FANTASTIC! GOOD FOR YOU! Now, that is an obstacle to overcome - literally! Oooh, the dreaded seatbelt and airplane seating always fills me with dread. I always carry my own extender but maybe the next time I fly I won't have to worry about. Thanks for sharing that with us, it's something I hope I'll share with you in the future.

Restaurant booths - who the heck did they use for their measurements! I hate them with a passion. But, maybe in the near future I'll not have such a tight fit, just as you are doing now. This is another thing I'm looking forward to in the future.

Congratulations! That truly is an NSV! I'm already dreading asking for a seatbelt extender on my flight to San Diego for my surgery in Mexico. It's so humiliating! I'll be so excited when I, like you, can fly comfortably. Thanks for sharing!

Hopefully image works! I have never seen so much extra belt lol! >>> https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3...ElIOE42MVA0UzA

    Thanks folks!

I'm a Southwest frequent flyer and I have seen flight attendants be accommodating to larger folks. Won't hurt to ask for accommodation prior flying and less to be stressed about. Hope your surgeries go smoothly! And to welcome you to this side of life soon enough!!!

OhMGoodness, Barb! I had booth phobia too!!!
