Default I think my stall is over, yay!

I had been having a stall ever since I got out of the hospital for the last time on 3-12-17, or maybe a little before. I think I can attribute that to my body going into starvation mode because I couldn't eat for at least two weeks before that. But I've been really watching my carbs and I've lost 4 pounds in the last week and I'm not dehydrated, as far as I can tell. I sure hope I keep losing! I'm glad the stall is over, I was beginning to wonder...

Good for you and I hope it continues! Send some of that good mojo my way, please! LOL. Geez, weight stall while we're suffering is like adding insult to injury. All the best.

How are you feeling? I'm so glad you're now on your way, moving forward! I also had a long stall. Maybe the 3rd month is just wacky? I don't know. My body has been really weird since surgery (like I've had a period every 2-3 weeks, I haven't had one in 8 years prior, I have an IUD that has a side effect of no periods). I think that contributes to some weight fluctuations that Ive seen. I also upped my protein a couple days this week and then saw the scale go down.

Stalls are the worst, but you do learn from them and that's a good thing. You learn to keep plugging along, stick to what you know works and then when it's over, it's such a great, in control feeling!

Good Morning Lisa, congratulations on your weightloss and getting out of a stall. I'm in one right now. I was sick for a week and couldn't exercise or eat like I had been doing. Now that I'm well again Ive been exercising and watching diet closely. Stalls suck!!! How are you feeling since last post?

Great news, with everything you went through post op having a stall couldn't have been to surprising. You can tell if you are dehydrated by the color of your urine if it is a pale yellow to clear then you are properly hydrated anything beyond that and you need to hydrate more.

Yayyyy! I'm on a funky one right now. So I'm just going back to basics and really paying attention to what I eat and making sure I have enough fluids in my body. Constipation has been the major factor and I try everything for it not to happen. I've had this issue since day one. I get stuck for a while then lose big, then stall again. Hopefully the scale starts moving again for me and continues to keep going down for you!

Unfortunately they do happen. I have noticed that when I stall I am eating too little. So if I up my protein and calories I start losing again.

I'm feeling much better now, pretty much back to normal. It's crazy about our cycle, I don't have to worry about that anymore as of August 2013. I'll try that more protein thing. I'll drink and extra shake a day and see what happens. Thanks for the tip!

I know I need to hydrate more, it's hard though. I drink a protein shake and probably 1 to 1.5 bottles of water a day. I also know because I don't go to the bathroom enough. I have been drinking almost a glass of splenda sweet tea in the evening. I know that's a bit of a diuretic, because it has caffeine, but it is so good! I'm going to stop drinking tea after 7:00 PM, limit my tea intake some, and try to up my water intake. Thanks!
