But I understand what you mean about loosing weight so we can do things we couldn't before Age doesn't help us either. I'm dealing with a herniated disc in my neck right now. No clue how but honestly think it was from my chiropractor who does the cranking on your neck. I am in so much pain I'm looking for all kinds of ways to help myself. I was referred to a massage therapist. Turns out she also does myotherapy, never heard of it! But she knows her stuff! She explained how sometimes when get injured our muscles work against the injury which ends up pulling everything out of whack She had a bad experience with a chiro that actually cracked or dislocated a rib.

She researched pain free chiro and came across NUCCA practice and referred me there. Holy Buckets! it's amazing how much better my entire body feels! The two of them refer patients to each other becAuse the combination of myotherapy and NUCCA help tremendously.

So that's my two cents. I feel so great I want to share it with others!
Yeah I know running can be hard on your body. But I love running. And I love doing races. I miss it. Hoping that I can get back to it. I did a Tough Mudder back in 2012 (when I was at a low 160) and was addicted to obstacle races. Fingers crossed I can do them again.

Running is not bad for you, running on very hard surfaces is hard. Doing a Tough Mudder on soft ground and through mud. Running on modern tracks is generally OK because of the foam rubber surfaces. That said, I had a friend switch to bike races/events when his knees went bad. Do you thing if it makes you happy because that is healthy.

I now I will get back to running. I was able to run when I was in my 160's and 170's (during my low weight years) with no issues so I know I will get back there. I am pretty sure it is just vitamin deficiency. I am very eager to get back on my runs but will make sure I do it safely.
