You are better than me, lol. I became the stereotypical ex-smoker when I quit. I could not stand the smell anymore. Most times, I makes me wretch. I try not to tell people how to quit because I quit when on pain killers for three months. Not the recommended cessation program, lol. Don't worry I don't think you are that person. just my bad sense of humor.

Hi Laura, Humor has gotten me through alot of medical issues as well has hard times, too you'll have to definitely save your lines from today. Maybe you can have a stand up routine some day. You had me laughing early this morning. I had big hair myself in the 80's, it required a bottle of hairspray, lol Take Care, Tamera

Very impressive bruise, good colors. My bruise is black now, I've lost the purple and blue hues.

Jes... no bread/toast - you're so right. Then why do the by-laws state we get toasters? A blender would work for me. I wish I had a huge glass of merlot right now... my mind is turning into mush.

Hey Laura. Congrats on your surgery. I get it, the intubation made me super sore as well and I can tell you that sugar free popsicles were a god send. Also, I did better with warm liquids post op. Tea, creamed soups made with nonfat milk, broth etc. I think that the sleeve is definitely going to save your life in more ways then one. It is such a blessing that they found your heart issue now before it is too late. Hey...no toaster oven but with not being able to eat much your really won't use it anyways! LOL. Love that you are keeping your humor about you! Big hugs!

Judging others as they eat crap is becoming my new pastime pleasure. Change of subject - I'm watching the telly right now, I swear these food commercials are just crap. Ever notice you don't see a sexy commercial for kale or cabbage? Where's the butternut squash slow-mo soup commercial? We get yogurt commercials but most of those are really just ice cream in disguise. We need MORE healthy food commercial, dammit!

Christie, thanks for the tips and support. We do need to change the by-laws from toaster oven to blender. That makes so much more sense, right?
