    Post Hello

I am joining this forum to see if other people are experiencing the same aches and pains . I have had bad leg pain for 3 days, I have never experienced anything like this, for 4 days I have not lost anything. I had my surgery on March 9,2017 my start weight was 334 and now I am 303. I would really appreciate some tips on how to get back loosing.

Stalls are normal and expected, you already lost 30 pounds in a short time.
The main concern here is your leg pain. If I was you I would see a doctor asap to make sure it's not a blood clot (DVT). It is a side effect of surgery and it can show up later and even one month post-op.
    Good luck and take care.

Conduct a search for the "three week stall." It's so common it has a name. It happens to most new sleevers between the second and fourth postoperative week. The scale won't budge for a while, then it miraculously starts moving again.

It seems as if your three-week stall began around two weeks postoperative.

If I were you, I would stay off the scale for the next four weeks. You did not gain the weight overnight, so be patient regarding your monthly losses. The majority of people on this forum do not lose 30+ pounds monthly; in fact, they usually lose less. You are doing well. Good luck to you!

I agree with both the ladies, You lost 30lbs in less than a month thats more than most loose in a whole month. Your weightloss was bound to slowdown for a second. You'll start loosing again just Keep following a healthy diet & exercise program and try not to be discouraged. Hope you feel better soon and nothing serious. Good luck with your journey

Leg cramps/pain can be signs of a blood clot, vitamin or electrolyte deficiency, a pinched nerve, or even the way you were positioned from surgery.

And yes, the stalls will come and go during this weight loss journey. Completely normal. Also use measurements (I take mine every 2 weeks. Chest, waist, hips, thigh, bicep) and pictures to track your success not just the numbers on the scale.

Every time I stalled and broke the stall, my macro nutrients were out of whack. Increase your protein intake in some way. more protein shakes at this stage is your best option. Once your protein levels increase your body will burn and trick the body into thinking it is not in starvation mode and burn fat too.
