    Default Vitamins

This is going to be awful of me to say considering the devastation my daughter went through from vitamin deficiency, but I just started taking vitamins about two weeks ago. I know, bad bad bad! I cannot handle these things though. Why do they make me so sick? Every single day a few minutes after I take it I get SO SICK. I get severely dizzy, nauseated, and usually throw up. I have to lie down for at least thirty minutes waiting for it to pass. It's always been this way with me and vitamins. I could never take prenatal vitamins while I was pregnant because I threw them up every time. Does this happen to anyone else? My kid is doing fine taking her vitamins. My parents have no issues with theirs that I know of. I take Women's Health One Daily (equate brand) I don't know if this matters as I have never found one that doesn't make me sick. Let me know if any of you have had similar issues then found one that didn't make you sick.

*I recently started taking it because I am exhausted ALL THE TIME. I can't make it through the day without a nap. Hoping these things will help despite the fact they make me feel like shit.

Most vitamins in pill form make me feel queasy. I will burp up the nasty flavor (just the way they smell) all day. I can handle the gummy vitamins, though. Yes, they have some carbs but at least I can tolerate them.

I found a pharmacy grade food base vitamin I can take on an empty stomach and I haven't gotten sick from it. I haven't tried anything else besides the bar chewables post op. So don't know how I would do on regular over the counter vitamins.

I couldn't take vitamins either, I tried all kinds. Recently I came across Bariatric Capsules by BMI Surgery. Everything you need in one capsule, take one three times a day. These have been a life saver.

I can tolerate vita fusion chewable vitamins, I take them in a Multiple vitamin, Vitamin C's, Omga 3's, & Calcium. For sleep I take a chewable melatonin. I have a sensitive stomach but neither of these have made me feel nauseous and I can take on an empty stomach. My blood work has never been better.

Sounds like gummies are the way to go. Thanks, you guys. I have not tried those, so I'll definitely pick some up and give them a whirl.
